Hermann s.n., Sri Lanka ("Ceylon") (BM). DescriptionTerrestrial. Rhizome short, creeping or ascending, deep in the earth. Fronds 4–10 on one stock, erect, unbranched, grass-like when sterile, 15–35(–45) cm long, winged except for the base, the widest portion about 5 mm; costae prominent on lower and slightly grooved on upper surfaces, glandular hairs abundant below. Sporangia-bearing lobes 7–20 at apex of fronds, equal, 2–5cm long, about 1.2 mm broad. Distribution in ThailandSOUTH-EASTERN: Rayong, Chanthaburi, Trat; PENINSULAR: Ranong, Surat Thani, Phangnga, Krabi, Satun, Songkhla, Yala, Narathiwat. Distribution in CambodiaKampot, Kompong Thom, Siem Reap, Stung Treng. Wider DistributionTropical Asia, north to S China (Guangdong, Hainan & Taiwan) and Micronesia. EcologyTerrestrial in light shade at low altitudes. Proposed IUCN Conservation AssessmentLeast Concern (LC). This species is common and widespread.
