DescriptionEpiphyte or lithophyte with long creeping rhizome; rhizome 3–5 mm in diam., densely scaly throughout, glaucous beneath scales, fronds on raised phyllopodia; scales peltate, dark brown in centre, otherwise pale brown, 4–8 mm long, c.1 mm wide at base, narrowly ovate, apex long attenuate, margin minutely toothed. Stipe stramineous to brown, 7–23 cm cm long, glabrous; rachis and costae stramineous, pubescent; lamina imparipinnate, oblong or deltoid-lanceolate, 12.5–52 by 18–50 cm; pinnae 1–7 pairs, opposite or subopposite, sessile, narrowly ovate, 10–29 by 2–6 cm, base rounded or cordate, margin entire, thickened, apex long caudate; acicular hairs on lamina and venation beneath. Sori round to elliptic, in 2 to 5 rows along costa and 2 between adjacent veins, sometimes confluent . Distribution in LaosUnspecified. Wider DistributionSouthern China, Nepal, Laos, Vietnam.
