Description

Floating aquatic. Plants up to about 2 by 1 cm. Leaves less than 1 mm long, green to purplish in old ones; upper surface papillose. Roots up to 5 cm long, bearing, fine root-hairs.

Distribution in Thailand

NORTHERN: Phayao.

Wider Distribution

American tropics, dispersed to the tropics throughout the world and the range being dubious at present.

Ecology

Floating in still water.

Least Concern (LC). This species is widespread and not under any known threats.
