Description

Rhizome short creeping; scales narrow, darker in the centre. Fronds slightly dimorphic. Stipes terete with one vascular bundle, c. 13–20 cm long, laminae ovate, apex rounded, base cordate or 3–5 lobed (sterile) or 3–7 lobed (fertile); sterile lamina c. 5.6–7 x 4–5 cm, no hydathodes on upper surface, margin with whitish to brownish, membranaceous border; veins copiously anastomosing, forming areoles which become smaller towards margin; fertile fronds generally shorter with stipes c. 4.2 cm long, laminae c. 5.6 x 3.4 cm.
