Stipes terete with one vascular bundle, c. 13–20 cm long, laminae ovate, apex rounded, base cordate or 3–5 lobed (sterile) or 3–7 lobed (fertile); sterile lamina c. 5.6–7 x 4–5 cm, no hydathodes on upper surface, margin with whitish to brownish, membranaceous border; veins copiously anastomosing, forming areoles which become smaller towards margin; fertile fronds generally shorter with stipes c. 4.2 cm long, laminae c. 5.6 x 3.4 cm.
