Description

Different from Cyclosorus triphyllus (Sw.) Tardieu ex Tardieu & C.Chr. var. triphyllus in having more than one pair of lateral pinnae .

Distribution in Thailand

NORTH-EASTERN: Loei; CENTRAL: Nakhon Nayok.

Wider Distribution

India, Burma, Indochina, Peninsular Malaysia, Taiwan and the Ryukyus.

Ecology

On rather dry river-banks in light shade at medium altitudes.

Proposed IUCN Conservation Assessment

Least Concern (LC). This variety is widespread and not under any known threat.

Notes

The status of this variety is unclear. It may just be a synonym of the species or a possible hybrid (Holttum, 1982).
