DescriptionRhizome short creeping; scales greyish-brown, lanceolate, 9–15 x 0.5–0.7 mm, distinctly clathrate, thin, crisped at apex. Laminae sessile or with short stipe, laminae subcoriaceous, linear, 30–70 cm, 0.8–2 cm broad, widest about the middle or higher, apex acute, base long attenuate; costa distinct. Sori c. 1 mm inside the margin, superficial or slightly immersed . Distribution in ThailandNORTHERN: Chiang Mai. Wider DistributionNE Himalaya, Burma, Yunnan, Taiwan and the Philippines. EcologyOn tree trunks at about 2200 m alt. Proposed IUCN Conservation AssessmentLeast Concern (LC). This species is widespread and not under any known threat.
