Indo-Chine 7(2): 132. 1939. – Type: Eberhardt 116, Vietnam (syntype P), Eberhardt 115, Vietnam, Langbian (syntype P x2).

Lindsaea dissectiformis Ching, Sinensia 1(4): 52. 1930; Boonkerd et al., Thai For. Bull. (Bot.) 32: 9. 2004. – Type: F.A. McClure 18312, China, Hainan, Hung Mo Shan, S.W. of Tan Ya, in wooded ravine, 25 Aug. 1929.

Description

Rhizome short creeping, c. 2 mm wide, sparsely covered with scales; scales reddish brown, stiff, narrowly triangular, 1–1.5 by 0.25 mm, entire, basally attached. Stipes 9–33 cm long, reddish-brown or darker brown, quadrangular or not; lamina 8–18 x 5–16 cm, ovate, tripinnate to quadripinnate, finely dissected; pinnae 13–21 pairs, longest pinnae at base, 3.5–9 by 1.8–4.5 cm, 1.1–4.8 cm between basal pinnae and those next above, pinnae gradually becoming smaller towards apex, no distinct terminal pinnae, basal pinnae subopposite, alternate higher, sessile or very shortly stalked, acuminate at apex; ultimate segments linear or spathulate. Veins free, one or rarely two in each lobe, visible. Sori marginal, terminal on one or rarely two veinlets, suborbicular. Spores trilete .

PENINSULAR: Trang.

Ecology

Terrestrial in evergreen forest at 900 m.

Proposed IUCN Conservation Assessment

Least Concern (LC). This species is reasonably widespread and not under any known threat.

Notes

In Thailand only known from one collection from the Banthat Mountains at c. 900 alt.
