Laminae 142–380+ by 31–65 mm, narrowly elliptic in outline, bluntly acute to acute at apex, long-attenuate at base, deeply pinnately divided to wing 0.2–1.0 mm wide along rachis, pinnae 26–66 pairs, longest pinnae 15–35(–45) by 2–3 mm, very narrowly triangular to very narrowly oblong, sometimes slightly crenulate, teeth to 0.5 mm long; with simple non-septate hairs sparse to frequent on lower surface of rachis (0.2–0.5 mm long) and sparse to frequent on upper surface of rachis (0.2–0.5 mm long), sometimes occasional to scattered on rim of sorus and sometimes occasional to sparse on lower surface of lamina (c. 0.1 mm long), occasional to scattered on lower surface of pinna midvein (0.1–0.2 mm long), occasional to scattered on margin (c. 0.1 mm long), occasional on upper surface of lamina (c. 0.1 mm long) and occasional to sparse on upper surface of pinna midvein (0.1–0.2 mm long), and 1–3-forked hairs 0.1–0.2 mm long occasional to scattered on lower surface of lamina, occasional to sparse on lower surface of pinna midvein, occasional to scattered on lower surface of rachis, occasional to sparse on margin, occasional to scattered on upper surface of lamina and occasional to sparse on upper surface of pinna midvein and upper surface of rachis; rachis prominent and concolorous to slightly darker on both surfaces of lamina, or level to slightly sunken and slightly darker on upper surface, both prominent and level to sunken on the same plant; pinna midvein slightly prominent to prominent on upper surface, sometimes slightly prominent on lower surface, concolorous to slightly darker on lower surface, concolorous on lower surface; lateral veins sometimes visible in transmitted light, sometimes slightly prominent and concolorous on upper surface. Sori 0.6–1.2 by 0.4–1.1 mm, ± circular to elliptic in outline, sunken ± parallel to plane of lamina in ± semicircular to semi-elliptic pouches, opening 0.2–0.4 mm from margin, prominent on upper surface of lamina, discrete when mature, on 4–56+ pairs of pinnae in apical, middle or basal 1/3 to 5/6 of lamina, in two rows per pinna, one on each side of pinna midvein, 1–8 in each row on longest pinnae, middle 115 to 1/2 or ± throughout pinna, nearer to margin than pinna midvein .
