Floating leaves herbaceous, elliptic or narrowly so, 1–2 by 0.3– 0.6 cm, shortly stalked; upper surface covered with dense short projections bearing several prickle-like hairs at apex, lower surface bearing downy hairs. Sori crowded at base of submerged leaves, spherical , covered with soft hairs. Distribution in ThailandSOUTH-WESTERN: Ratchaburi. Wider DistributionC. Europe, N India, China, Japan, N Vietnam and Java. EcologyFloating in water in open places. Proposed IUCN Conservation AssessmentLeast Concern (LC).
