Rhizomes short creeping, scaly. Fronds bipinnatifid. Stipes 15–25 cm long; laminae ovate-triangular, 20–25 cm long, 14 cm wide, the lower pinnae with narrowed bases; lateral veins in the lobes mostly forked. Sori round with hirsute thin indusia .

Distribution in Thailand

NORTH-EASTERN: Loei.

Wider Distribution

Japan, Taiwan.

Proposed IUCN Conservation Assessment

Least Concern (LC). This species is widespread outside of Thailand and not under any known threat.

Notes

The occurence of this species in Thailand is as yet unconfirmed. The record comes from Mitsuta (1985) but we have seen no material.
