Specimen in Geitler collection, on slide 17 in box 2, (Geitler XVIII). The nucleus shown is in zygotene of meiotic prophase. The stack of optical sections shows that both of the two nucleoli lie at the periphery of the nucleus, probably indicating the the nucleolar organizers are telomeric. The stack suggests formation of a bouquet at around 10 o'clock.
